Given the situation and the general danger possibilities, I don't think that would be crazy. Maybe the high end, but certainly in the realm.

I'd kill to have a team where going at a current .535 record (27-23-7) is not up to the standards after performing at a .506 record the season prior.

I don't think that Krueger has done poorly enough to be fired on his own merits.

But at some point, how can anyone argue against picking up a Boudreau or Gallant or Lavy or Babcock. Krueger might be as good as thoae guys given time.

But we already know how good those guys are.

If Boudreau or Gallant are willing to come here in any capacity, it should be done immediately. I don't give a crap who needs to get fired, promoted, demoted, re-assigned, or whatever. It's just silly to think that this level of hockey personnel are available while we toil in mediocrity over here, saying "nah, we're good". When Terry talked about spending all available resources outside of the salary cap, these are the types of people I envisioned getting brought in.

Ralph keeps talking about how the players are almost there in terms of playing the way he wants which makes me think there's no way he'd introduce a new coach which could just disrupt things more. Its too bad though because there's some talent available.

Of course Buffalo's special teams is an area of weakness and while MIN and VGK have decent PPs none of those teams had solid PKs either.

The Sabre paid a high price for Krueger by suffering through 2 years of Housley. They tanked for Ralph.

I would put money on Zucker finishing the season .9 ppg or somethin in his time with the Pens. Crosby effect is real.
