It looks like the Leaf game is settled, and some action in the Pens vs Blues game as well. :)

Yeah, it will be a good challenge for us on saturday - Leafs is a playoffs team now. And Dan Rosen believe we will reach playoffs too - so it will be an interesting matchup.

Becoming a good team was the worst thing to ever happen for that fanbase.

I enjoy the Leafs being good, but wow their fanbase is becoming insufferable.

Of course Marleau scored two goals. He was the perfect signing for them.
 
I know the Flyers are our rival, but I don't like that the Oilers are wearing their color. They've always been the one orange team.
 
Woof. What a way to start the season for Jets. Giving up 7 at home (?) makes for a pretty shitty evening.

Yeah, what's going on in Leaf land kind of reminds me of how it was when Red Sox nation once they won their WS back in '04 became insufferable, forgot to be humble and all of a sudden their shit didn't stink anymore. They went from luvable hard luck losers to arrogant ass clowns overnight.

What sux is I like alot of the Leafs players and wouldn't mind them doing well. But at same time that would make their fan base even more insufferable....ugggggg.....what to do....what to do.....haha

By the way did this happen to anyone else. I live in Philly area and once Sharks/Flyer game started, NBC left the Pens/Blues game with game tied at 4 and just a few minutes left in the game. I'm thinking that was a regional decision due to it being Flyers. But still, what a stupid dumb decision by NBC to go away from what was a great game to watch.....arggggg
 
Leafs D is still pretty suspect, their goaltending bailed them out early tonight, but yeah let them get their offense going and they'll run over you.

After the first 15 minutes the Jet's just looked bad in every way
