Bergeron officially retires.
The waters around Robidas Island are particularly murky at this time of year... and unlikely to clear up anytime soon.Matt Murray going on LTIR is such a cap scam. He was perfectly fine (able) to play in the playoffs.

Or another Sunbelt team like Tampa. No no no, this is a "wise use of the mechanisms available in the CBA and a savvy way to manage cap issues using the resources at hand." Cap scams only happen within the borders of Arizona, remember?

Well, if it turns out Grier is not a good GM, this is how we find out about it, right?#2 What in the heck is San Jose doing?!?!? Why are they trying to sign Tarasenko and Dumba?!?! Why aren’t they bottoming out and trying to get Celebrini? They’re trading EK. Why try on Tarasenko and Dumba? That team makes no sense to me.

Its about money not the destination. he is either a good locker room guy or he is not, BA will have smoked that out. I kind of hope we don't sign him, I like the player but its just a stop gap for a year maybe two. We need the help on D but at this point, I would let the younger guys get the minutes and play. If we were further along and more of a playoff team, then i would sign him, as a vet he helps our playoff success. We're Dumba's last choice out of the possible destinations. If he ends up here it's because nothing else came to be. He's waiting and hoping we're not it lol. Not sure I want that in the lockerroom.
It's last choice among acceptable destinations for him. He wants a spot on a contender and is waiting out on the contenders making their other decisions first. Else, he prefers here given the opportunity and ability to re-orient to move him later to a contender as a deadline deal. He's not hemming and hawing over whether he wants to play in Arizona and would sulk if he got here, and furthermore, it's not like this is foreign territory to the team and most of the core players - they've seen a number of guys sign here the past few seasons with the intention of getting moved at the deadline, they know the drill. We're Dumba's last choice out of the possible destinations.
