Front office staff don't count toward the salary cap, so I don't understand why TOR doesn't money-whip a small committee of co-GM's. Most GM's earn about what their 3rd line centers do. Get 7 guys to boot room your big decisions, drafts, signings, trades, everything. The wisdom of crowds and a diverse collection of opinions. Maybe some candidates have too much ego to be co-GM, but TML has endless stacks of money to make it right.

It doesn't seem to have helped but they have 4 or 5 AGM's. Dubas hired and hired and hired to try to get an advantage.

As they should ask. But that's a far cry from good candidates passed on the job already. Its only been 10 days since Dubas was let go, I doubt anyone was offered the job and passed on it. I would like to hear his suggestion of the good candidates that passed.

I don’t think BA would’ve been willing to lower his ask to this level. He set the market for these dumps. Now knuckle head rookie GMs like Briere and Kyle Davidson are racing to bottom it out. I bet BA is pretty unhappy with these two upstarts.
