Samsanov is an average goalie in this league. Brossoit is much better I would wager.

No they're not. Take an ever so slightly deeper look.

Who are the teams they have had problems with - Hurricane, Bruins, Isles, Stars (still won though), Canucks...

These are all teams that are tightening up their forecheck to end the season.

If Im going into the playoffs against the Leafs, I send 2-1-2 for the first period and try to shake them. They will collapse then you settle back.

I grew up with Jets 1.0 … I will always cheer for an Oilers loss even if it means the Jets lose first place that’s how much I hate them.

Sadly, the real PLD showed up tonight against Dallas. One shot on net, and a penalty is all he has to show for the Kings, going into the final period with Dallas leading 4-0.

I am beginning to think that even if we let Dubois walk with no compensation, we would be winners, as the $8.5 million in cap space must be killing the Kings.

I have made this point and I don’t think there is much debate at this snapshot in time at least. PLD at $8.5 million and mostly just his inconsistent personality would be a liability for the Jets. The first half of his last season with us he was great but you just can’t count on the kid.

He is the definition of addition by subtraction.

one thing is PLD's first year he got here was hot garbage as well. different context for sure though, but perhaps takes him a year to adjust? wouldn't be the first player for that to happen to in this situation.
