Bettman’s southern bias helps them too. I just bought champagne the other day that I’m gonna pop open when he is fired/retires/dies. Whatever comes first.A billion dollars for a franchise will do that...![]()

As long as they don’t win the lottery. Would rather see San Jose, Columbus or Ottawa with the 1st pick.Last night was good for the Jets' 2nd round pick. Habs dropped below Ottawa and the Yotes inched clos er. Habs might finish 5th or 4th from the bottom, which would make the Jets' pick #36 or #37.
I hate to say it, but my opinion of Bettman has changed somewhat.Bettman’s southern bias helps them too. I just bought champagne the other day that I’m gonna pop open when he is fired/retires/dies. Whatever comes first.
I trust you purchased a high quality champagne that will age well?Bettman’s southern bias helps them too. I just bought champagne the other day that I’m gonna pop open when he is fired/retires/dies. Whatever comes first.
Oh yes, not to break character, but my disdain for Bettman is highly exaggerated.I hate to say it, but my opinion of Bettman has changed somewhat.
Yes he's still a smarmy NY lawyer but he's done a lot to grow the game.
I do think it's time for a change of leadership, though, as the NHL has chronic issues that need to be solved, in marketing, officiating and player safety. It's time for a new leader with a mandate to fix them.
The southern expansion on the whole has been a great success, but the NHL has fallen behind MLS in status and that to me is unacceptable.
I do love how voraciously and eloquently he shut down the Jets moving hysteria earlier this year.
Yes, but he’s gotta be getting close to retirement by now, right? ….right?!I trust you purchased a high quality champagne that will age well?
I suspect it could be quite a while yet before you get to uncork it. Bettman is 71, average life expectancy in the USA is 78 but I imagine a guy of his "stature" has access to the best stuff to extend that.
EYSSIMONT: 66 games, 10 goals, 10 Assists
a definate upgrade on Baron, Slow Gus, Perfetan, Kupari, AJF, TonyNato or anyone else on the 4th line not named Namesakov!
You have to remember Bettman is in charge of making the owners money ... if he doesn't they fire him.I hate to say it, but my opinion of Bettman has changed somewhat.

disagree on barron and perfetan. he's in the same tier as barron as 4th liner. but definitely better than krapari and slow gusEYSSIMONT: 66 games, 10 goals, 10 Assists

Really, I like Gus... he's as good at face-offs as Stenlund and a lot fasteri didn't mind him as a 4C either. better than what Gus or Kupari has shown.

Unreal, as a side note that person needs to cut or clean their nails. That looks to be about $0.75 per fry. Hope they were tasty.

I don't really get it. Like, if you doubled the fries on that plate, what would it cost you as a vendor, 20 cents? That looks to be about $0.75 per fry. Hope they were tasty.
Yeah, I would have guessed that the cardboard plate cost more than the friesI don't really get it. Like, if you doubled the fries on that plate, what would it cost you as a vendor, 20 cents?
