Definitely late, definitely to the head. Guessing 2 games, 3 tops.

The 5+ predictions in the thread way too high with someone without a prior

With 2 former Ducks running the DOPS now, it will probably be 20 games to "not show favoritism"... ala Andrew Cogliano.

...funny how little PoS' like Zegras almost NEVER try this bullshyte on players that play for a team with a Nuclear Option (Deslaurier, Xhekaj, Rempe, Olivier, Reaves, etc) on the bench...it's almost like there is an on-ice detterent for that behavior...things that make ya go "Hmmmm"...
Eh I don’t think that plays into it all…. He’s literally cross checked Matt tkachuk in the face…. And taunted Frederic.

On ice deterants don’t do too much, duck fans can provide you with plenty of uncalled head shots/knee shots on our players…. And according to some were a goon/dirty team.

...and that's because the Rules now benefit the weasels with the way the "Instigator" rule is constructed and implemented...I'm not campaigning for a return to 70's Bench Brawl Hockey; I'm for allowing a certain leeway to the on-ice policing of the game by the Players...

I propose an "anti-instigator" penalty. If player A does something stupid and player B goes after him for being stupid, and they fight, then the referees can penalize player A because he "had it coming and deserves it."

:sarcasm:

Enforcers are like guns. You are more likely to harm yourself with it, whether during an altercation or an accident, than you will successfully use it to defend yourself.

...it wasn't called because the officiating in that game was f**kin' atrocious...as quite a few officiating crews have been lately...
It likely wasn’t called because the puck had been gone long enough that the officials had shifted their attention away from the Wings player - which speaks to just how late the hit was.

should have been 5 and a game, it will be a suspension, Zegras is a spoiled brat, no way I would have recommended selected his brain if I was on the Ducks draft assessment squad back in the day...he might have skills however the 6 inches between his temples are not his strength.

2-3 games I'm guessing. No one can claim it was a good hit. Very little track record though, I don't see them going with a big 5+ game suspension. No call on the ice for something like this, won't reflect well on these refs as they evaluate before playoffs.

Like this. This is so weird! Where does this even come from?

That will getya 5-10

textbook on multiple levels
Repeat offenders barely get this many games.

Zegras should be suspended because it's a bad hit, but he has no history of this and will probably get two games.

Also, if it was going to be that many they would have offered an in-person meeting, which they didn't.
