Rangers Rempe is a media darling for all the wrong reasons
Ain't that the truth. Maybe twenty years down the road, maybe a little longer, maybe a little less he'll be a cautionary tale.

I genuinely feel bad for him, he seems like a decent person in interviews. I get you're going to do what you feel you have to do to make it in this league and you'll feel its worth it. But this won't end well.

Aaron Ekblad out 2 weeks, talk about another guy that just can't stay healthy
I’ve often thought of putting together and All Injury Team exercise just to see what it would look like.

Yeah, Ekblad would be on it as well as our own Vilardi with Chaz Lucius as the team’s top prospect.

I can already envision a cheap shot knocking out one of our Stars (Perfetti??) when we play them.

Hopefully Rempe is just piss 'n vinegar right now and will settle down. He could be a decent player if he stops running at guys and learns to simply hit in the same vein as Lowry. Maybe his meeting with DOPS today will help get that through to him. I'm not so hopeful in his case as a result of his waving to the opposition after getting kicked out last game. As a coach I wouldn't want that type of guy on my bench at all.

That a bold move. Like to see more of those bubble teams taking risks to try to catch up to Vegas for the last wildcard
Tough road for the Wild/Blues/Kraken/Flames if Vegas continues their current .561 pace. That's 98 points. If they only go .500 that's still 96 points. The trailing teams would have to go about .800 down the stretch to hit 98. Like 13-14 wins and only 3 or 4 losses. Tall order.

But if Vegas doesn't maintain their season-so-far .561 pace, then things get easier. They're .350 over their last 10. Runing .350 over their last 18 would put them at 88 points. The 4 trailing teams would need only 20-22 points over their last 17-18 games...10-5-2 or something. Still, you're counting on Vegas to continue to slump for the next 18.

Last night MacDermid challenged him twice and he refused, they he elbows the Devils player and acts like a clown, does the NHL really need this type of player in the league anymore.

f*** Rempe is a clown, 4 games isn't enough for all of his bullshit.
The Nhl wants violence in the game, it's how it was sold to the Americans in the early days. Perhaps if Texas had total control, players would be made to strap on holsters.:)
