I mean, Torts could cause the Flyers to lose by forfeit at that point and it would have only cost Philadelphia 0.13% of a win (thanks, MoneyPuck) so I mean, if you're gonna go off the rails at the ref, that's the time to do it.

Yeah you know what, I'm just gonna go out there and say it, but I think their P(Win) formulas kind of fall apart at the extremes...

Yeah. And I just watched the first period and Torts did not have a reason to act like that. One phantom call vs Philly for sure but the rest of them are fine. The trip/interference against Eyessimont was warranted; they 100% impeded his path. And Hathaway being an asshole and getting misconduct is just game management. Truth is the Flyers played like hot garbage and TB was ALL over them. They were getting outshot 14-2 and basically had no offensive zone time vs TB. If Torts is going to be mad at anyone how about your teams effort.

What a nice schedule for the Canucks 9 straight home games until the end of the month but here's the kicker.
1st game vs Jets who play the night before
2nd game vs Avs who play the night before
3rd game vs Caps who are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights
4th game vs Sabres who play the night before
the next 5 homes games they actually don't get an advantage.

beauvillier with an incredible assist in his debut for nashville today, just sucks it happened to be to hartman to put the wild up 1 in the 3rd

nashville ties it up with the wild after a terrible penalty call against the wild

wild win in ot after pulling the goalie

Looks like the Flames are slowly going under
really don't get the logic in keeping markstrom... ownership nixes a trade because they were playing well and wanted to make the playoffs but allowed them to trade everyone else making their team much worse.. like they were a long shot before trading away their ufa's wtf did they expect to happen

Ask was probably way way to high seeing that he has term and the fact that the SN crew that covers the Flames always calls him a top 3 goalie in the league, they are nowhere near contending so they probably try to trade him in the off season

apparently they had a deal done with the devils but they won a bunch of games so they decided to keep him, that's why he was upset with management after he agreed to waive then they kept him anyways

You learn something new everyday ... if the Preds would have scored in the empty net ... the Wild would get 0 points

What a gamble but if you look at the Wild's schedule Ducks x2, Sharks x2, Coyotes, Hawks, Sens, Blues x2, Kraken, Kings x2 all winnable games plus they play Vegas x2 . Avs x 2 and the Jets. This is 4 straight game where they got points 3-0-1. they need around 18-20 more points to get to 97-99 points.
10-7 is doable.

I'm trying to come up with a good reason for this rule
