I still think the Toronto Sports Network would give more airtime to stories about a shitty Raptors team than a Stanley Cup winning Jets team

They need to be called Torontedmonton Sports Network or something. Good grief, so much tire pumping of the Oilers and such homeristic love for them, crapping all over the Canucks and Jets, while reaching for a towel over Edmonton winning 11 in a row (completely ignoring their start to the season).

Makes me actually glad they just ignore Winnipeg -- I'd die of cringe if they acted like that towards the Jets.

How did he even come up with 3 losses in a row, a quick look at his phone and he could see the standings . Something tells me they don't want Winnipeg to ever be good, i could be wrong though. Pretty sad actually.

As someone who has done a fair bit of PXP over the years, and has watched a LOT of MJHL hockey, I've come around to pretty much every single NHL commentator.

Without naming names, It is ROUGH out there. I will say Portage's regular is outstanding - and my two local guys (Steinbach and Niverville) are high quality as well.

As for Edwards, I think he gives the people what they want - It's definitely a distinctive style.

How about now?

I'm actually happy they won - I don't need them coming into the Jets matchup on a massive slump.

He was never as bad as he is this year, he doesn't really do pbp but rather a running laboured commentary of the game with constant chuckling. I wish that SN would stop taking the Bruins feed all the time. On the other end of the spectrum is Oilers pbp guy Jack Michaels who won't shut up and goes into his over the top shtick when the Oilers score.

Kings fail to beat the Preds. Would have been nice if they had taken care of the Preds as it would have been clean sweep of the Central. PLD had some glorious chances at the end too. I know Kings fans hate him but he had a pretty good game tonight.

Not that they are a threat in the Central at this point, but after that nonsense on Snet about Hartman 'sending a message for the playoffs' and other crap, their downward trajectory pleases me. Almost unhealthy so.
