Philly fans boo Santa. I don’t blame Philly fans here. He really is just an entitled prick who kinda screwed them over. Wouldn’t return calls or anything. No explanation given. Death threats are common on the internet. It seems lots of ppl want to be rich n famous but don’t want the criticism that comes with it. In a world where rich ppl molest kids on islands and pieces of shit ppl are looked upon as hero’s why are ppl surprised by death threats online. Fun fact, you don’t need to be on X. You can delete the app.

The comments you are making about Gauthier are fair game. Death threats shouldn’t be. I stand by my earlier post.

If he were to sign with a Canadian team, Perry feels like an Edmonton signing to me given that they took on Evander Kane when no one else wanted him and his contract with San Jose was terminated. But Toronto doesn't seem impossible, they can just assign someone to LTIR if they need extra space to hold him.

Also signing a 38 year old winger on a team that desperately needs goaltending feels like an Oilers or a Leafs move based on past behaviour.

I think people are misinterpreting what he said. He said he's had conversations with the agents but didn't indicate whether he has started negotiating or not on contract extensions.
 
Interesting all the GMs knew about Gauthier not wanting to play for the Flyers and all were told to keep it quiet until the trade happened. Flyers were waiting for the World Juniors to be over to finalize the deal to get the highest return.

Agreed it doesn’t appear negotiations have started but that certainly seemed like his preferred path would be to keep them around with extensions.
