It's weird. Kyrous comments could have been interpreted multiple ways, I'm not sure he was being critical of Berube. Regardless, Blues fans are rather intense.
he is NOT having a good time this season, holy. 2 injuries, an illness, one healthy scratch and it's only mid-December.

He hasn't been performing well, he's on a big deal, Blues fans love Berube for the 2019 turnaround, and their hack of a reporter presented his comments as a single quote with no context whatsoever.
It's still absolutely ridiculous to boo the guy because he didn't fawn over the ex-coach who clearly didn't like him that much in an interview after he was fired.
Man reporters can be idiots though, how many times do you have to ask the guy basically the same question. Once Kyrou started to get upset he should have walked away.

Berube hasn't been very respectful of him in some post game comments, plus he said "no comment". Booing your own player because he didn't fluff up the outgoing coach is ridiculous.
There's no crying in hockey. I'd give the fans the finger and tell them to go to hell if I'd already signed a $65 contract.
He really is injured which is actually not so bad for both parties right now. He'll be back causing problems soon enough.
That should be a 10 game suspension.
