He stands on his head.I don't know how Bob does it, he is completely awkward looking but it's working.

Well, everybody except their goaltender that is.Bobrovsky remembered he's a goalie in this playoff. Leafs playing well enough to win both games but they're running out of runway.
I don't know when but I on these years they will start to grandfather full face shields for players coming into the league
Maurice nailed it in his post game interview. Toronto media freaking out over the Knies "hit" feels like they haven't been watching any of the other games this post season.

I've resisted a full cage for a long time but I'm getting tired of my yearly repairs because someone can't control their stick.
I've been playing for 35 years and I can't count on one hand the number of times I've clipped someone
I thought he came in when Bunting got suspended and they liked his game enough to keep him in the lineup. Regardless, your point still stands.Knies is going to be a good player but I’m not sure he should of been put onto a playoff roster from the get go
I hope those dumbasses run it back with Matthews going into his lame duck yearThought Dubas was going to cry, better get that resume ready if the Leafs lose this series
To many good D years. Add montour, Hamilton, dahlin, hughes, hesikanen all above 70 pts. and h.lindholm to that mix.
I wonder the last time 8(!!!) dmen had above 70 pts. And Karlsson +25 gap is the largest 1st vs 2nd place gap since....??
Just 5 years ago, John Carlson led d scoring with 68.... That'd be 9th this year with a couple (makar, Josi) have a superior PPG.

see post #6043Seasons where 8 or more defensemen had 70 or more points in a season:
2022-23 (8)
1993-94 (8)
1992-93 (9)
That is all...this is a real outlier year for the sheer number of defensemen who put up big numbers.
Seasons where the top scoring defenseman beat the runner up by >25 points:
2022-23: Karlsson 101, Morrissey/Hughes 76 (25 point gap)
1985-86: Coffey 138, Mark Howe 82 (56 point gap!)
1984-85: Coffey 121, Bourque 86 (35)
1983-84: Coffee 126, Bourque 96 (30)
1978-79: Dennis Potvin 101, Salming 73 (28)
1975-76: Dennis Potvin 98, Jean Potvin 72 (26)
1974-75: Orr 135, Dennis Potvin 76 (59)
1973-74: Orr 122, Park 82 (40)
1972-73: Orr 101, Lapointe 54 (47)
1971-72: Orr 117, Park 73 (44)
1970-71: Orr 139, Tremblay 63 (76!)
1969-70: Orr 120, Vadnais 44 (76!)
1960-61: Red Kelly 70, Doug Harvey 39 (31)
So if you're ever wondering how dominant Orr was...in 1969-70 and 1970-71, you could have divided Orr's points by 2 and he'd still have placed 1st and 2nd in defenseman scoring for those seasons!
Orr was 26 at the start of the 1974-75 - the year he beat Potvin by 59 points. He'd only play 30 more NHL games after that...
