I haven't been paying attention to the Habs since the PLD trade but apparently they are in full blown meltdown mode over the Reinbacher pick Canadiens draft thoughts: The Reinbacher fallout, a quiet free agency and the run on goalies

Apparently the Habs management is now considering leaving him in Europe for next season as they don't want him to face the angry mob in Montreal if they ask to play him in the NHL/AHL.
