New Jersey completely dominated that game for 3 periods. They are the opposite of what most people would assume is a team built for the playoffs. I remember Jack Hughes taking allot of heat in his rookie and second season for being a bust as a 1st overall. Then he exploded this season putting up 1 point shy of 100. It also ipushed Hischier down to 2nd line centre and he put up 81 points and also looks really good 1A 1B

They also have two blue Chip D prospects in the pipe line with 2022 2nd overall RHD Simon Nemec and 2021 4th Overall LHD Luke Hughes who put up 48 points in 39 games at Michigan. That is could be a high end top pair one day for this young core.
