What I find kind of funny is that with all the teams in the east loading up in that arms race, only one will vote out of that conference.

So... who do ppl think is gonna get Connor Bedard?

I'm leaning SJ at this point.
Chicago wins the lottery.

Then drafts 6 first and 6 second rounders over the next 3 drafts. (Plus 3 first and 2 seconds on 2022)

Signs mcdavid as a UFA and proceeds to win 5 cups in a row.

Recipe for a cost controlled dynasty except for that Jones contract.

I don't think the lottery balls will get weighted in Chicago's favour, the league still is mad at that organization for the scandals they caused. Bettman's New York teams are loaded. Montreal only gets to draft first at home. It's Anaheim's turn I think.

That's the best thing that could happen because nobody wants to face them in the 1st round. I like the Jets chances a lot better against either Dallas or Minnesota.
I am leaning towards WC1 and cross over to the Pacific, if Colorado passes Vegas and I think they will. At least you avoid Colorado until the Conference Final.
