How did the Denver cop not know the players on the Avalanche? That cop is an idiot

To be fair not everyone in every city is a sports fan or roots for hockey.

I am by far a bigger hockey head than 75% of the Canadians I work with.

And some people are just better at recognizing faces than others, I could name pretty much every NHL player & a lot of prospects by face. I’ve even seen Ranger fans on this board ask who pics were of when it was Ranger players in street clothes lol, and in the lookalikes thread and stuff a lot of even diehard fans can’t recognize many players by face

Wait until all head coaching vacancies are filled and then fire your coach. Super classy.
They could really use someone to help turn things around in San Jose. Someone that can help grow their young players and that veterans can respect. Sounds like the perfect place for David Quinn.

I think Quinn would be good for them. Allows them to be crappy for a few more years to gather assets, low pressure market and San Jose is a lovely place to live.

If SJ hires Grier I'd bet Quinn has a great shot to land there. Boston University connection

Ya'll ever notice that the reported favorite for head coaching jobs rarely get the position?

Mike Yeo joining the VAN Coaching staff. Van allows Brad Shaw, torts boy from CBJ, to join him in Philly.

Van also announces that Jeremy Colliton is their new AHL HC.

I don't know who I like less, Yeo or Bylsma. The former looks like that over seriously guy who had no luck with ladies prior to 30 and happily flaunts being married and a serious adult. He's probably never been to a concert in his life and looks down on it.
