Mason's dadFormer NHL defenseman Bryan Marchment passed away. He was in Montreal preparing for the draft.
Bryan Marchment, Father of Florida Panthers’ Mason, Dead at 53

We'll see if Boqvist really starts putting it together, could be a great little deal for Columbus. 3 years at $2.6 Mil
I'd be really surprised if he gets too much more than the Chytil deal. 2.5 is definitely plenty fair for what KK has shown so farmore points than Kakko and a RHD would be nice if Kakko would take a 2.5 X 3 years.
Yep. Wasn't there some news a fews days ago that there were close on extending Kakko? Would be nice to see that get done soon.I'd be really surprised if he gets too much more than the Chytil deal. 2.5 is definitely plenty fair for what KK has shown so far
And they only play the Islanders and Flyers three times each.Nyr schedule us out… not a big fan of it.
The NYI games are done by mid december. April is meh
Pit we play 3x in 4 games in mid march so one injury or td trade could have a huge impact in standings.
But you play with the schedule they give u.
Edit: also we play on New Years day. Isnt that supposed to be winter classic only? Or did they switch days?
LMAO...being a painter and Ranger fan...I know all about that....38 years of work and over 50 cheering for NYR's ....unfortunately...my younger bro is an Islander fan since inception...it sucks . I sent Turk a message tonight and told him to help them look hard for a nugget/nasty center in the draft tomorrow .I’m personally fine with only playing the Islanders thrice. Games against them are like watching paint dry.
Get them on the Samuel Savoie train for me if you can. Thanks.LMAO...being a painter and Ranger fan...I know all about that....38 years of work and over 50 cheering for NYR's ....unfortunately...my younger bro is an Islander fan since inception...it sucks . Playing every western conference team home and away is the dumbest thing ever. Alternate every other year and add more divisional games. Rangers/Islanders is getting more eyeballs than Rangers/Oilers at 10:30 on a Wednesday in December
Nah.
Fans in every city deserve to see every team and its stars in the league at least once a year.
We just had a season two years ago where we only played divisional opponents, and 8 times each. Everyone was sick of it by the end.
Agreed, I enjoy seeing all the stars pass through MSG at least once a yearNah.

As a Rangers fan who relocated to Nashville, I strenuously disagree. I get to see the Rangers live ONCE a year. Don't take that from me.Playing every western conference team home and away is the dumbest thing ever. Alternate every other year and add more divisional games. Because there were no fans
Sens easily win DeBrincat trade. Chicago front office is interesting...Seth Jones extension hasn't even kicked in yet. At least they got to enjoy 3 recent cups.
That might be objectively wrong. Whereas it may not be every game against a divisional rival that is a barn burner, many if not most are. A Rangers v Avs game at MSG does not have the same energy as Rangers v Pitt. Only thing I may concede is that teams like NJ who just flat out suck doesn't help things. There's honestly no difference in passion between division teams.
The 2022 draft is underwhelming and DeBrincat is a PPG winger who's only 24. it's an easy win for Ottawa. Derek Stepan returned more in a higher regarded draft. Not even close to the reason everyone was sick of seeing the same teams. There's honestly no difference in passion between division teams. Not like it's the 90s and there were fights all over the place. I would much rather watch Colorado home and away play the Rangers than the boring ass Islanders play even more games.
Is it the Sens' pick? If it is I can't see how they won this trade, that's an absurd haul.
