Not even close to the reason everyone was sick of seeing the same teams. There's honestly no difference in passion between division teams. Not like it's the 90s and there were fights all over the place. I would much rather watch Colorado home and away play the Rangers than the boring ass Islanders play even more games.

Is it the Sens' pick? If it is I can't see how they won this trade, that's an absurd haul.

The Blackhawks got fleeced in that deal. Why did they trade him? He's a player you try to build with.

Why did Chi give up on Dach? Was he really THAT bad playing on one of the worst teams?

Torts likes his defensemen to defend. Tony’s not going to have Slavin riding shotgun for him this year. Philly just doesn’t have a defender nearly as good as that.

I hear what you're saying, but how on earth would Putin know if Kaprizov had a valid US visa after he was allowed to leave Russia.
No idea. But I can understand why the government wouldn’t want to allow a high profile Russian who is wanted in his home country into the states right now.

I would just love to hear what the exchange between the reporter and Tony was that prompted him to make this statement lol

As rubbish as that country is, they are not after Kaprizov and there are no issues with other Russian NHLers either. A lot of crazy stuff happens in that country but this is one case where it's overblown. Why would they want Kaprizov? Russian leadership is doing their best trying to convince their people it's going to be alright and the West is the ones losing here. Starting to detain high profile citizens is not exactly the way to go.
