As rubbish as that country is, they are not after Kaprizov and there are no issues with other Russian NHLers either. A lot of crazy stuff happens in that country but this is one case where it's overblown. Why would they want Kaprizov? Russian leadership is doing their best trying to convince their people it's going to be alright and the West is the ones losing here. Starting to detain high profile citizens is not exactly the way to go.

Mackinnon contract was signed when be was a teenager. Mackinnons contract when be hits ufa next offseason will be north of 11.5aav, he likely is in mcdavid territory with long term

They use to. About 5 maybe 6 years ago. There was a Ranger’s or MSG employee that use to shoot the scrimmages and player interviews from Greenburgh and then post them on YouTube and their website.
Sadly we get very little compared to then.
