Pastarnak is getting traded. He's too smart to hitch his wagon to this bonehead GM's rebuild, especially if they hire their AHL coach or Quinn to take over for Cassidy.

The Islanders should move heaven and earth to get him if he becomes available. They have been passed by the Rangers & Canes in the Metro hierarchy. I hate everything about them obviously, but that would be a move that gets them back in the mix and creates a real heavyweight rivalry with us going forward.

I don’t get the fascination with Deboer?
