  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

growing up the 2000's the islanders were irrelevant and it wasn't long ago that they were basically buffalo until they got a new gm after tavares leaving. there was a void for really 20 years of mediocrity and besides there are not very many islanders fans in jersey

on the other hand, i hate the f***ing penguins. entitlement to a level you didn't know existed. i couldnt believe the penalties being called in that series against them last year. gary's team, getting crosby, etc. i hope they rot the next 40 years

this is a long time comin, f*** the f***ing penguins

And even winning the Matteau Matteau Matteau series, I knew Brodeur was going to win them at least one cup.

Just wasn't counting on it being three.
 
The Islanders will probably find a way to win this one but Montreal has had the better of chances so far. Looks like Montreal is the team fighting for their playoff lives in the first period.
 
habs defense is so bad. that franchise is so far away from being competitive.

Well Elias Pettersson obliterated his previous career high in points. He's at 101 right now. 6th Canuck in franchise history to reach the century mark.
