Tage Thompson can blast it.

It's amazing to watch other teams set up that one-timer on the PP... It's telegraphed when we have Fox and Panarin QBing because no one worries about them shooting. Tage Thompson was wide open on the dot.

Lindbum is the Mcilrath of the 2nd round
It’s actually been the Sabres problem on the PP this year. Teams have sniffed out their attempts to get it to Thompson and Olofsson. This time Dahlin got them to believe he was shooting so they got it through

Jeez, didn't realize Auston Matthews was that much of a giant p***y. He's 3 times the size of Konecny, but he needs Bunting & Giordano to fight his battles? Lame.

NHL needs to start enforcing 3rd man in rules.

Matthews is so soft its sad. Konecny is one of those players you hate but love on your team. Matthews has always been this way

I don't mind rival fanbases visiting personally. Having said that, it seems like everywhere I look lately there are cocky Devils fans gloating. That team is getting alot of national praise and it's honestly good for the league, but I can't help but laugh when I see all the hubris directed at the Rangers. Just got done reading some dude on twitter dunking on Ranger fans for being excited about Kakko.

It really wasn't that long ago that everyone around the interwebs were calling Hughes a bust. Of all fanbases, you would think NJ's would understand the process most of all, but they seem to be the most rampant about Kakko and Laffy being busts. It's just odd to me, idk.

Then again, i've always liked the Hughes kids so maybe i'm the weird one....
What??!! They have a NUMBER ONE PICK. (Multiple ONES?). And they have a trend setting WINNING PEDIGREE. They’ve been rebuilding for years and have AMAZING LEADERSHIP (including Michel Therrien Junior). The headlines write themselves.

Matthews is not soft. I dislike the leafs and find much of their team laughable. But Matthews is absolutely not their problem.

Maybe soft is the wrong word, but the Maple Leafs core (Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Reilly) all have the deserved moniker that they are easy to play against. They also constantly taking opponents lightly, which is why they are always having these embarrassing losses to bottom feeders. Theyve always struck me as a team that is more concerned with their personal stats and branding than actually winning the ultimate prize. Just an outsiders perspective.

TNT is miles better than ESPN. It's a shame...

Can only hope by some miracle ESPN learns but they may be to woke for that

TNT has the Cup this season.... so we have that going for us
I can’t wait for the ESPN playoff mid period commentary. Jemele Hill, Max Kellerman, and Stephen A discussing the racist undertones of grown white men with sticks hitting a black puck that can only be saved by a white man.

Their actual level of play has been much better since he got hurt.

They were getting caved with him playing top pair (or four) minutes, they've actually controlled games since he went out.
or maybe it's just easier to generate shots when you play at home against teams like Montreal, Chicago, Detroit and this version of the pens than when you are on a roadtrip in the west

I'd give more credence to this theory if Dahlin's numbers weren't exponentially better away from him even when he was healthy.

Giroux just scored on a random lucky bounce dump-in.
Would love the rangers to get a break like that.
