Every year he is *healthy* the Penguins will be "good" and "dangerous". Damned legends on that team, and very good support.
It won’t be long until half of that team is hurt and Jarry goes full pumpkin.
Same story with them every year.
MSG has commercials during Ranger games where the "real fan spotlight" has a life changing moment after hitting a puck that explodes in color during a Queens street gender reveal. The Devils have a "real fan spotlight" commercial that has a life changing moment where a woman gets the Devils logo tattooed on her arm. We are not the same.
I'm so tired of the Penguins being juggernauts every year and we have to hope and pray we get a magical season like last year. Lately it's been more about the regular season as they haven't had postseason success but I'd still kill to have that type of prolonged success.

Having two to three Hall of Famers on your roster will do that for you.
Doesn't matter how old Crosby, Malkin, and Letang get, them old is still better than most teams can hope to put together.

There's a very big difference between drafting Laf/Kakko 1 OA/2 OA and drafting Crosby/Malkin 1 OA/2OA. Penguins sucked/won the lockout lottery at the right times.

Actual generational talent only comes along once or twice in a generation. There havent been many.
Yeah, but we're not comparing Crosby/Malkin with Laf/Kakko but Panarin/Mika. I think they're at least somewhat comparable in 2022.
