I'd have loved to reffed this game and seen Marchand's face when I have him a double minor for embellishment and goalie interference.

Why did the Western Conference decide that tonight they'd play like trash? Can that continue during the Wings' western swing starting this weekend?
 
Didn't want to hijack another thread and was more of a question for just wings fans... we all saw Perron get 6 games for his croscheck earlier on, Reilly has gotta get at least 6 as well right? I'd give him 10, he wasn't protecting his player, it was after the whistle and he has plenty of time to skate over and crosscheck him blatantly in the side of the head.

Gotta admit watching the highlights and I watched the slapper I laughed out loud 🤣🤣🤣

Losing to the Sens then possibly losing your best defenseman for a few games while your battling a wildcard spot.. good news for us.
 
For sure will get games. I’m on both sides of the fence. On one hand i love the balls of the slapshot. But if you f*** around you’re gonna find out. Greig probably won’t ever hotdog a slapshot into an empty net again.Reilly with the old school mentality. That’s what pronger would be doing to zegras on a michigan

because I don't want answers from around the league? Leafs fans will say it was deserved and so on. I posted here because I want Wings fans to respond due to the Perron suspension which was also a crosscheck.

around the league means its for talk about things happening around the league not specifically involving the Wings. A fan of another team is just as capable of posting in this thread as any other, providing they haven't been moderated out.

That's a definite "can't do that" by Reilly. I don't expect him to get a Perron-level suspension because the optics aren't as bad. 3 games maybe?

Honestly though if the Leafs didn't respond at all then people here would be mocking them for being so soft. They basically can't win... until they actually win in the playoffs.

The Sens can enjoy trolling the Leafs but it doesn't change that they've massively underperformed this season.

Perron was sticking up for Larkin. Grieg took a slapper into an empty net. Reilly skates over to him with 2 hands on his stick and crosschecks him high which hits him in the head. It was targeted for sure and should get at least 6vgames as well.
 
It should be more than what Perron got at least. Because it was totally unnecessary and he had more time to skate over to do that shit than Perron did. If anything drop your gloves like a man would instead. Not that cheapshot shit.

In person hearing for Reilly according to these guys, so 6 games minimum? I agree based on Peron’s it should be more.
