Impressed with Sanderson tho, he probably has a huge year where Mo just maybe has another Mo season. Which is good but not a step I was hoping for. At first I was thinking damn, Sanderson got that much now that means a ton for Mo. But maybe not.

Boston still undefeated and playing Anaheim tonight so they’ll probably keep that streak. I never counted them out but I’m surprised with the hot streak they’ve got going considering what they lost.

not a ton of goals for but only 6 goals against in 4 games so far for them

people who wanted to think Boston would fall apart this year wanted to brush it off but like I said in the offseason they brought back basically the entire defense and both goalies of a team that allowed the least goals in the league by far last season

So this apparently hasn't gotten much better if I am to believe the highly selective clips on Twitter, haha.

But it's always tempting to see whom might we want if a team becomes a yard sale.

improvement on Perron and Fischer at 3 and 4 RW.

Improvement on Petry. And finding a different, less expensive 7d option for Maatta since we can’t give Chiarot away.

I'm not totally sold on Sanderson's offensive game, but he may well become the world's best shutdown defenseman. They'll be happy with him whether or not he lights it up.

Maybe you beautiful people can clear something up for me. I've seen on Twitter recently a bunch of memes between Sens and Wings fans dogfing each other and calling each other fanbases pathetic. Are we in some sort of rivalry with them? I have nothing against them, but Twitter says I should.

Not really. It is from last season's two games near the deadline where they beat us pretty bad. Sens fans got all high and mighty and then Wings fans got snippy back. Then the whole DeBrincat not wanting to be there, but wanting to be here. It is only between fans on the internet and nothing to do with either roster.

I think the Sens fans will focus on Buffalo soon enough.

Agreed.

It's mostly a handful of Sens fans here acting like they won the Cup last season. Then as you mention, their bitterness over the DeBrincat trade. Which from a human perspective I can understand his actions but if I were a fan of the team he left I could understand being a little salty.

There's a dude JimmyApples that's among the worst of them. Last year he was trolling like crazy during the Sens wins against the Wings and then was nowhere to be found when they washed out of the playoffs. He seems to have reappeared in Wings related threads.

I have no feelings of rivalry about the actual team. Just laughing at a few fans here.

You should hate them with a fiery passion. They shit on your boy Hronek and claim they’re the reason he was traded.

Perron's not going anywhere, he wears an "A", and he's a much better mentor for Joey than Gags.

Fischer... yeah. He's had a couple of good plays, but for the most part he's just a warm body. It's up to one of the kids to send him packing, he's on a one year contract.

Not sure why you're hung up on Petry's $2.3M, he's the best 7th D in the league. $1M overpayment isn't that big of a deal for 2 years, Oesterle's cap hit last season was $1.3M. I'm not even mad about Copp being overpaid anymore, I think when that contract is done, they'll send Copp packing and give DCat the money.
