Agreed. Don't get me wrong those two games were a real wakeup call for the team. I just got tired of all the trolling by some Sens fans and the narrative that it was those two games that turned Yzerman from a buyer into a seller at the deadline. So there's definitely some schedenfreude from them missing the playoffs after all that talk.

I just watched his goals, he's flinging the puck at the net. Neither goal was a high IQ goal, though I think his first goal was a pretty good play. Skate to stick, turn around shot, low glove. The kind of play he didn;t make while with the Wings.

But anyways, Copp has 3 goals in 4 games without even beating a goalie with a shot. (Stuffed a rebound, redirection, and EN) Low sample size can make for interesting stats. Neither player will sustain that pace.

I mean their fans are annoying that's the closest thing we're gonna get to a rivalry right now

what even is there for more on ice focused stuff? stuff that hasn't been relevant since before half the team was even born?

To me, rivalries are built from teams at the same kind of window that have played meaningful games against each other, which we haven't with them. Last year it was 2 mid-bottom ish teams battling out in meaningless games. Their fans on here have been annoying, agreed, but to me that would make most teams rivals of ours from just that, as there are prominent annoyance factors here from basically every team in the league.
 
Sanderson is already Top 15 D in the league I am learning, eventhough over 40 D in the league log more ice time than he does, because he had a hot start. But his ice time is only this low, because Ott have a lot of really good D and that means you play less.
 
Small sample size, but weird seeing Carolina having 24 goals against in just 5 games. That's a 4.8 gaa.

Their goalies really aren't that good. They are the kind of goalies that if the team is at it's best, and really stingy defensively, can post nice numbers, but if the team is bad or just ok, you will see what they really are. Andersen was a good goalie about 4 or more years ago, but I think he is just meh now.

We're judging Debrincat after 4 games, let Ottawa fans do the same with their players. Just don'[t tell me Zadina is on pace for 40 goals, lol.
