I'm a Canucks fan. That's it. I pulled for Tampa in 2004. I pulled for Carolina in 2006. I have pulled for Sweden over Canada in international play cuz they had more Canucks. It's a game. And I only have one team. It sucks that it's one of the hardest teams to be a fan of. But It isn't a patriotic thing.

Dodged Vegas in Round 1 due to LA beating Chicago with 90 sec to go.

Got a weak and old LA Kings team in Round 1.

Faced Vancouver with no Demko and then no Boeser for Game 7 in Round 2.

Faced Dallas in the WCF, who were old and beat up with Hintz and Tanev getting injured.

Were overall healthy through 3 rounds They lost Evander Kane in the Finals but meh.

It was their year. This was a golden path.

Round 1. Weak ass opponent.

round 2. Faced a 4th string goalie. No joke. Silov didn't even have the most games for us in the AHL.

round 3. They finally faced a real opponent. One thing Dallas couldn't do, which Florida and Vancovuer was able to do was thrwart Edmontons Powerplay. game 6, Dallas outshot edmonton 4 shots to 1, and still lose. the one and only game Skinner stole for them.

OEL wasn't total dogshit as a Canuck (in fact his first season was fairly respectable). His contract though was.

Man the Oilers had like 4-5 INCREDIBLE scoring chances in the third period.

Like at least four times I was like "f*** the game is tied" and somehow the puck didn't go in the net.
