here is a crazy idea....lets just get rid of off sides. Who cares about cherry picking.
League comes up with a lot of ideas to try and increase scoring and pace of game. Take away all those whistles and reviews, and increase scoring chances. Open things up.
Think of even 3 on 3 having the guy at the back end being able to take the puck back, and then immediately enter the zone again without waiting for teammates to clear.

When I first got into roller hockey, I used to hate no offsides since it was not a rule ice hockey had.. but I ended up liking it. It becomes a 200 foot offensive game - lots of long passes, a lot more flow to offense - and a lot less whistles as you said.

True - but in practice it doesnt feel that way, since you get to cherry pick too. There is hardly a distinction between forwards and defense in 4 on 4 roller... and is it turns out, teams dont just leave guys in the 0-zone they come back to play D.. it sort of all works out and doesnt ruin the game.

I see a lot of hooplah over the end of the Ducks game last night...but wtf? Zegras poked the goalie in a 5-0 win and got crosschecked for it, big deal. Terry then came in throwing punches...and everyone's upset he got dropped? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, Zegras went crying to the media about it and everyone's like "yeah screw Arizona, go Trevor." I hate AZ more than the next guy, but I don't see anything wrong with their response, don't stab the goalie and you won't get wrecked, don't come into a scrum raining punches and you won't get punched back.

That is another one. Why would you give a team an advantage, after they take a penalty, that they do not enjoy during normal play? Why do you get to ice the puck because you're a man down? At least make the PK team reach their own blue line before they can freely dump the puck the other way.

Meh, when you are up 5-0 with 5 to go and jam a goalie like that you better be ready for the other team to fly off the handle. I actually would be pissed if my team was shitty and didn't scrap in a situation like that. At least it shows they care about being shown up.

Whining to the media in that situation when asked a question isn't something I'd ever want to hear from a Kings player, it just sounds weak to me. I'd much rather hear "We'll play them again, and we won't forget" and move on. Show that you'll stick up for your boys yourself rather than wait for the league to do something.

You're assuming the Coyotes did it because they were looking like idiots, as opposed to a team already pissed at being down 5-0 and the opposition is still taking stabs at your goalie's glove.
