Bit of the straight flush in scores tonight. Teams scored 9-8-7-6-5 goals in their wins. The snowman the Hawks put up on the Ducks was pretty nice. Gibson pulled again, gave up 6 goals on 8 shots. Worst quote of the night...Ahlers, " Don't look now, the Ducks are only down by 3" and then the Hawks scored again.

Can anyone explain why TNT would have 3 Canadian teams on their double header?

Do they have no say in scheduling with as much as they pay?

Why is that bad?

Because normally you get the best ratings from local markets. It’s why for years great hockey markets like Chicago and Pittsburgh were on so much.

They don’t get that with Canadien teams. Although I guess the Habs might draw pretty well.

I feel like it's groundhog day with the migration...

Great night, Vegas losing and Vancouver only getting a point. Winnipeg was already a longshot but tonight's loss really put a dent in what little hopes they had. They would need to go 18-5 down the stretch to hit 98 points to have a good shot. Same with Anaheim, they need to go at least 17-5 to hit 97 points.

It's down to 10 teams in the west with a shot for sure. It's looking more and more like both WC will come from the Central, Dallas is playing well and Nashville has turned it around.

No kidding. I didn’t think they could make the site’s UI worse, but they managed to!

I’m this close to starting my own hockey community.

Axl, Fro and Goldenbear will be happy, all the negativity in the Thursday GDT has been vanquished like Thanos snapping his fingers.

I like the update because it’s way smoother to browse and post from mobile (Atleast for me)

Some things are better, some things are significantly worse. It takes twice as long to get to your notifications and the notification bubble is cut off.

Emojis don’t work (although they were supposed to).

Dark mode still has neon red icons, making it nearly unreadable.
Just a few things I’ve noticed that are worse so far.

Once I get used to it’ll be ok, as long as that random refresh glitch is gone I’m happy. Tired of typing stuff out 3-4 times only to just give up.

I wish Kyle Clifford would run me through the boards, right in the numbers.

What a happy looking fellow.

Take those lies back. Rookies are not allowed to do that.
Yeah, tonight a good night for rookies.

Matt Boldy scored his 12th of the season and now has 12-12-24 in 27 games at age 20

Cole Caufield scored in OT and had another multi-point game and now has 8-9-17 in 14 games since the coaching change. Age 21

Peyton Krebs 2 goals, up to 12 points in 25 games. 6 in his last 10. Age 21

Sillinger hat-trick. 11 goals, 21 points as an 18 year old.

Tomasino scored his 9th and added an assist for Nashville and is getting noticeably better with each game. Now has 8 points in his last 10 games. Age 20.

But expecting NHL production from young players is being unreasonable.
