Surprised the Lightning are so low. They have really nice colors and their design is simple and clean
Yeah, ARZ is ranked #2. That ugly logo, with its 3rd grade artwork slap together thing was once considered the worst in the NHL. Even the players hated it. The Ducks and Knights at the bottom is perfect!Flames are way to high. Teams that go back to full retro I am not a fan of. I liked some black with the flames.
Lowest surprise for me is Chicago. Maybe because of political controversy with the logo, but really that uniform is one of the best. Dallas is a surprise to me too as it is a straight rip off of chicago.
HIghest surprise for me is Seattle. People like the shiny new toy, People loved Vegas when they first came out.
us humans are funny fickle f***ers
I don't mind the Ducks logo (in minority), I mean it's a duck foot that is also a D. Kinda clever, probably better as a shoulder patch though.
I know Toffoli got the hatty but was it A-Mart's last game as a king too?
Yes it was, honestly hadn't remembered it that way but I just looked it up.I know Toffoli got the hatty but was it A-Mart's last game as a king too?
For me, the Blackhawks crest is still the best in the NHL.Yeah, the Mark Lazerus types in Chicago weighs theirs down. The Hawks go out of their way to appease these people with what they do in-game and in other ways, but they won't be happy until they have a stupid generic name like the Commanders or Guardians. I still think all the original 6 ones are great. I actually just bought a beautiful original 6 piece for my sports room in the basement.
The skating Penguin and the classic Philly P are great, IMO too.
I have no idea why the Coyotes are 2.
The rest I agree with. The Ducks might have the worst logo in pro sports. It might even be worse than the Cleveland Browns.
For me, the Blackhawks crest is still the best in the NHL.
The Chicago organization would be making a big mistake. Fortunately for me, I have played on a beer league team named the Blackhawks and have both the home and away Blackhawk jersey. Also have a couple of autographed pucks with the Blackhawk logo, The Golden Jet and Tony Esposito. I enjoy autographed pucks from that era, because the players could actually write in cursive and you can read it.I agree, its one of my favorite logos in all of sports. That and the Winged Wheel. I hate both the teams but those logos are gorgeous.
Unfortunately I don't think it makes it another 10 years.
I think they're generally knocked for being boring given the potential of their team name and colors. I agree, to be honest. They also have basically copied a few Leafs jerseys over the years, adding to the boring tag.Surprised the Lightning are so low. They have really nice colors and their design is simple and clean
Did NJ ever go back to Green and Red? Those were great.
Since 1996, no team has worn more jersey variations than the Kings.
I look at every one of these logos and the only one glaring with no creativity and bland as HELL is none other then number 26!!! Yikes. Absolutely shocked it's not last. The brilliant person who decided hey lets just put this beauty on our chest needs to be canned immediately. That you LUC!!!
Ducks dead last as expected.
Kings being near the bottom is no surprise.
I would expect the Flyers to be higher. I always liked their jersey.
Almost all the Canadian teams ranked too high IMO.
Chicago would be higher, but a lot of people now rank it low because they consider it to be offensive.
Good luck to him. I liked his game.Speaking of of the Ducks, former King Austin Strand signed there.
Former LA Kings defenseman Austin Strand signs with Anaheim
I think that's a beautiful logo. So intricate and detailed.
I hate when teams have something unique or even divisive, then they switch to something bland.
These are nice! I just want the crown back!
People are saying the Kings reverse retro is going to look something like this for 22/23.
better than the home plate lolI found a leak of the new sweaters the Kings will be wearing next season.
The funny thing is the continual regurgitation of the company line that research shows that fans don't like or will buy the purple. Which is b*******. Local fans will buy whatever color jersey their team wears. What this poll tells me is that league wide hockey fans in general will not buy the Kings jerseys in their current form. But opposing fans always rank the purple ones highly. I don't know, maybe missing some sales league wide by continuing with the boring black and white with nondescript logo?
