I was about to say, the Kings looked more competitive than this, and that’s with a depleted lineup.
I thought a Darryl Sutter coached team would put up more of a fight, but this is looking like the Kings/Sharks matchup from 2016.

Anybody who wants to sign Zadarov or Chariot hasn’t watched the playoffs. They’re horrible, look like McDermid slow.

This isn't Sutter hockey at all. It looks like the way he coached the Kings in his last playoff stint as coach. The dead eyes look behind the bench, he's already thinking about the farm.

I think a lot of it has to do with Markstrom turning into a pumpkin.
Its pretty demoralizing to work so hard to get a lead or tie it up, only to have him give up so many weak goals.

Yeah, no idea why anyone would want to get slower.
McDavid is in the division for at least the next 4 seasons (and probably longer) you have to account for that when constructing a roster based on divisional playoffs.

We need at least one banger on D otherwise speed is the need. I thought MikeyAndo did a solid job on 97 all series. DD of course will be good in that role.. but he's slowin down a bit
