No gender bias complaining on this board -- just look at how everyone feels about Faust/Fox. You suck, we complain.
I agree on the gender bias but California is a little ahead of some other markets. The UK is also but there is still an element of idiots here, there, everywhere.

As far Fox/Faust I’m pretty neutral on it, I’m just grateful to see NHL hockey as it’s so hard to watch out here, so I live with it. I do miss Bob though and I’d agree they need to improve, I think the issue is a lack of chemistry. They just don’t gel but at the same time it doesn’t annoy me like it does some others.

Toronto's risky cap management is already having adverse effects

https://www.prohockeyrumors.com/2021/10/east-notes-blue-jackets-bishop-holl-niku.html

  • The Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Alex Bishop to a one-day amateur tryout deal, David Alter of The Hockey News is among those reporting. The move is necessary with Petr Mrazek out with a groin injury but Toronto can’t make the money work to recall another goalie from the minors. The 24-year-old plays at the USports Level with the University of Toronto. Once they play tonight’s game, they’ll be given approval for an emergency (cap-exempt) recall. Toronto can’t send defenseman Timothy Liljegren down to make room for netminder Michael Hutchinson as he’s needed with blueliner Justin Holl unavailable due to a non-COVID-related illness; Toronto’s electing to play down a backup goalie over only dressing five defensemen.
Teams should be forced to play a skater short in that scenario. Nonsense. These sorts of things should have been planned for when the cap was introduced as it’s not a particularly contrived scenario.

Go easy on the leafs, and more teams would do it. Weakens the hard cap limit. Stick to the collectively bargained rules.

Kane seems pretty toxic.

It's almost laughable that he can't do anything right and how much trouble he has found himself in... It's just mind-bogglingly stupid how easy it was for him to ruin his life so simply.

I am sure his debtors are thrilled that he just threw away over 1/3rd of his yearly salary of $7 million because he simply couldn't get vaccinated for a deadly disease...

Do we know he's not vaccinated? I know he got a fake card and that implies he isn't, but the NHL stated only four players weren't vaccinated yet and I thought the names for them came out/leaked out already? Bertuzzi and MacKenzie were two.

I wonder if he got a fake card because he wasn't vaccinated in time but is now.

Next month - “Evander Kane has been suspended the remainder of the season for hijacking a commercial airliner. The National Hockey League strongly condemns hijacking commercial airliners.”

Campbell playing lights out against New York, with no help from his teammates. Shesterkin making all the Leafs contracts look bad.

Shesterkin was great last night. Rangers stole 2 pts. Leafs threw the kitchen sink at Shesterkin and he stood tall

LIvely OT

Whoever that Leaf was going off for a line change after their first chance nearly cost the team a goal. Tired or not, you skate harder than that back to the bench.
