Might be an indication of the tier drop after the 9 skaters + 2 goalies. Reminds me a little bit of the 2011 Draft where there was a tier drop after #9. The next ten picks: Jonas Brodin, Duncan Siemens, Ryan Murphy, Sven Baertschi, Jamie Oleksiak, J.T. Miller, Joel Armia, Nathan Beaulieu, Mark McNeill, and Oscar Klefbom. Some talent in there, but usually this is the portion of the draft that produces more question marks than we like to acknowledge.
