It is what it is, but they weren't going anywhere with OEL and Garland. Now they get 9OA and better their odds for a top 3 pick next year in a draft that has franchise caliber players at the top.

i've genuinely been hoping they pull out of this rut that's come with all the ownership problems, so many years now they've had such a stockpile of high ceiling picks that either don't pan out or get shipped off..

even if they're a rival it just sucks seeing an NHL team so deep in the shit

Arizona doing some solid work actually. I can't believe they managed to dish off OEL's contract. That's 6 more years of pure garbage at 8.25 mill, and you're saddled with Myers too? That OEL deal was thought to be completely unmovable. They just had one more year of pain on the deals they shipped out. Garland for the 1st is otherwise a wash.

Fully rebuilding the rebuild that was rebuilt after the previous rebuild. We’re serious about rebuilding this time!!!! They should package a couple of their 15 second round picks and acquire some attendance.

I understand why you can’t give ARI the benefit of the doubt, but at least they’re committing to a full, bare bones rebuild. I think most don’t realize how close they’ve been to the cap the last few seasons even though the results never lined up.
