Fletcher gave up Ghost , Haag, 2021 st, 2022 2nd , 7th and 2023 2nd, for Risto, on his last year. And he's the worst defende rof the 3.
Fletcher was mediocre in Minny and has gotten worse since he got to Philly. This is one of the worst trades the Flyers have ever made.
Where is he getting $$
Need another d, as they now have 5, no goalies signed and sanheim to sign this year.
Next year, Risto, Cooter, Giroux, and 4 other forwards with expiring contracts.

I'm so angry...I hope it blows up in his face.

Yeah, I am honestly blown away by this trade. I would have thought the 13th overall+2nd and Hagg was a bad trade, but adding Ghost, a 7th and another 2nd just makes it ludicrous. I have a buddy who is a Flyers fan so I hope it doesn't blow up, but I am not optimistic.

Very relieved. At this point I’m happy just drafting our players and moving on. Some of the deals are insane!

Per Futa, Apparently he had a deal last season (OEL for Demko) and he was waiting on it and during that time Toffoli bolted.

I still remember Jim Fox being high on Risto during an all-the-kings-men podcast.

I think this draft is such a crap shoot and is relatively weak so that picks aren't valued as high as some years.

Just re-living the Benning and Toffoli saga makes my tummy LOL from the inside out... and I don't think it's the acid indigestion kicking in.

OEL may have been worth persuining like 3-4 years ago. This is akin to NHL GM's in love with a player but forgetting that their game has changed, for the better or worse, over a period of time.
