Col about to be 0-4
Or the best players are being destroyed by poor management....we are seeing the best players of our generation destroyed by cap limits, starving for defence, naked without starting goalies.
Fixed that for youwe are seeing the best players of our generation destroyed by personal greed
Well if you are elite you should get paid. But as they say, rising tide raises all boats. So up to management to decide who to pay and who to move off. Like Nurse in Edm. And others around the nhl.Fixed that for you

I'm more weary of term on Demko than the cap hit given his injury history. Cap hit will be high regardless. 2014 pick so in 2026 he is 30.5 years old with his late birthday.8.25M x 8 for Oettinger. How does this affect Demko's potential renewal?
I'm wondering if Demko's injury history will make it such that his contract will be closer to Swayman/Oettinger than the Shesterkin 11M tier.
Don’t think Demko was ever in that next tier, Vezina winner, several long, deep playoff runs with sustained elite level of play for Shesterkin.8.25M x 8 for Oettinger. How does this affect Demko's potential renewal?

Demko definitely has much more pedigree than Swayman though, who isn't particularly "proven".Don’t think Demko was ever in that next tier, Vezina winner, several long, deep playoff runs with sustained elite level of play for Shesterkin.
Oettinger is an excellent comparable, can’t see Demko coming in more than that. The former has about 42 more career playoff games than him.
The Avs gave up 3 breakaways plus leaving guys wide open in the slot, Bruins were tipping pucks right in front of him unimpeded, the Avs aren't even playing defense anymore, Toews was hurt and missed last nights game, and their 3rd pairing is horrible. Same thing with the other 3 games. Sure Georgiev isn't great, but i would say he allowed maybe 3 bad goals so far this season. You can put Hellebuyck back there and he would get lit up as well.Georgiev is absolutely cooked, man.
Stone is going to "get hurt" in Feb, the Avs will be out of the race by then and Rantanen will end up in Vegas. Stone will be healthy for G1 in the playoff, maybe G2 at the latest. Its pretty predictable. The answer is always Vegas.
Shesh is one that is going to be an interesting contract. Best goalie right now, but how much more valuable is he compared to the others making upwards of $8.5 mill? Does he expect 50% higher? I mean, that would be like McDavid at $12.5 mill and no one else above $9 mill. Which hasn't been the case.Don’t think Demko was ever in that next tier, Vezina winner, several long, deep playoff runs with sustained elite level of play for Shesterkin.

Tristan Jarry is the Penguins third best goalie and is making $5.35 million. Great job Dubas.
Buffalo with Lindy Ruff reminds me of the Canucks with Boudreau. They might be the team that makes a crazy trade
