unbelievable, Yzerman is a boss
No income tax is such a huge advantage.
unbelievable, Yzerman is a boss
Would be difficult to prove collusion. Look at how Yzerman operates his team and got his two top stars locked up long term.
There are very few sensible GMs left, and he's one of them.
Hamhuis $3.75 per for two years.
Wow. That would have certainly worked here.

Makes sense. Get rid of a guy like Subban who was a problem in the room and bring in Radulov who is true leader.

Maybe Montreal is kicking tires on bringing in Avery. Finish the trifecta of great decisions to make your locker room a better place.
THe NHL should shut the door on that. GM's fault for caving in to players unrealistic demands on term...
Some of these deals are brutal...
Wow, the deals being handed out are so bad... Kind of glad Lombardi is sitting this out.
Dean should just resign Toffoli now like the Lightning are doing with their upcoming RFAs and UFAs so he has a better idea of what he is working with cap wise moving forward.
Just sign Brad Richards and call it a day .
Toffoli would be stupid to sign now.
Exactly. He's got the same agent at Kopitar and Toewes, he'll wait until next season is over mos likely.
\6 million per for Loui Eriksson? On Vancouver no less? Weird.

Term.
Like Lucic (and Backes I suspect) he wanted the most years. Boston was willing to go 4, as were some others, he wanted more. Not a good signing for the Canucks but they tend to be desperate.

Vancouver's last offer for Kris Russell is believed to be in excess of $25MM.
Will be interesting to see his production this coming season as the best winger on the team.
Depending on lines, I'd put the 70s Line as the #1 over the Kopitar line based on Kopitar's wingers. Interested to see if they would draw top D assignments at that point and if he can pot 30 again.
