Lucic to Edmonton, Campbell to Chicago, Radulov to Montreal, Ladd to NY Islanders, Eriksson possibly to Vancouver.

Helm got overpaid to stay in Detroit and Calgary is going hard after Troy Brouwer.

Probably best that Dean Lombardi refrains from this madness.

That management team is beyond clueless. Just do a rebuild already.

1000x this. Stay away from the stupid deals, Deano. My hunch is there's going to be a frenzy in the opening hours, and we'll be left to examine what's left of the garbage heap.

They're paying a lot of money for the Sedins, and they're still productive. They want something for that investment. Even a couple playoff games is better than nothing. They have plenty of time to rebuild when those two are gone.

You know, it's a stark reminder that ultimately, we've NEVER had much luck in UFA and hoping for otherwise when FAs mostly sign with teams in the East is folly.

DL built this team through the draft and timely trades and will have to continue to do that. SInce we won cups, its easy to forget the swings-and-misses at Kovalchuk, Brad Richards, Chara, etc.
 
Thats a fair contract for Lucic and the Kings will regret not giving it to him. I say Lucic performs highly throughout entire contract. Not every player ends up like Brown
 
Yeah screw these prices. And it's easy to forget how scary L.A. is for Canadian farm boys...we have zero luck with free agents. Best fa the Kings have ever signed is Pavel Demitra (rip).

Lucic is a slow, regressing player with very little in terms of raw skill. His asset is his physicality, which WILL regress.
