We could have drafted Gibson but we chose to trade that draft away
We dont' draft goalies at least not at a high level. I mean we also had the 21st pick in 2015, instead of moving up to pick let's say someone like Samsonov we drafted down to pick Dermott

Yeah this series is over. Montreal literally gave it their all tonight and dominated most of the game yet are down 3-1 with less than 5 to go. If they can't capitalize when TB is playing a lackluster game by their standards, then they have no chance when the Lightning go back to pushing the pace.

I would bet money that Montreal isn’t making the playoffs next year. This is their Cinderella run. They may still win, I’d still have them missing the playoffs. No way they will qualify over Florida, Tampa, Boston or Toronto.
They have good D. if you have good D you'll always be in a game. Not to mention Price
For us, it's always other way around. We everything except for good D and goaltending

They have 4 solid D, who play 90% of the game. Then two boat anchors they can barely play. One of the only teams that stacks ice time to their top 4 to quite this degree, and frankly it's working.
