Look at that crowd in Vegas doing the wave.
Meanwhile I can't go to Cosco to buy a pair of jeans. LMFAO.

Montreal has zero chance in this matchup unless Price stands on his head.
Our division really was terrible.
Well said and I agree! You took the words right out of my mouth. It wasn't like the Habs were the class of the North division
We had them dead to rights before our epic choke job, hell we were kicking the crap out of them
Unfortunately we did the leafiest thing imaginable
Winnipeg were bloody average, decimated and there goaltender played like he was human, that's a bad mix
I'm not saying we would beat Vegas but I think we would be a far bigger threat
Exactly why you don’t sign Simmons, Thorton et al. If you want a effective power forward you have to pay the price, not go shopping in the bargain bin.......Simmonds has a lot of mileage on him so you kind of understand if he has some limitations.
The north division was as weak as expected, no team was going to get to the final without a miracle happening. Even Price standing on his head probably won’t make a difference.Montreal has zero chance in this matchup unless Price stands on his head.

Granted he’s not putting up points, but he brings it in other departments, the same can’t be said for many Leaf players making way f**king more money.Still can’t believe that Anderson got a 7 year deal…
Disagree, if you think this is boring hockey, I don’t know what to say, maybe a non contact 4 on 4 shinny league is what your looking for?God, what a boring series this is gonna be. Montreal is easily the most boring team to watch. Fun watching Vegas make easy work of them though.

Sooo, what your saying his game resembles MM’s game, or is it similar to AM’s?Funny thing too is his current playoff drought is pretty much in line with his career so far, he's always underwhelmed offensively in the post season
I disagree, he has been invisible in these playoffs.Granted he’s not putting up points, but he brings it in other departments, the same can’t be said for many Leaf players making way f**king more money.
This the 3rd conference final in that last 11 years where their roster looks below average, it’s kind of crazy when you think of it. I think they’ll lose in 4-5 games to Vegas. They have an interesting future, some of their young players look decent, but Price and Weber (along with their contracts) are a ticking time bomb. It’s almost as if their window is the next 1-2 years because of it, but they don’t have the horses to keep up with the elite teamsLove to see the Habs lose. Hope they get swept.
I agree that we would most likely put up a better fight against Vegas than the Habs will.
I just dont think any of the Habs, Jets or Oilers are really any good and us winning the North division doesnt say much.
3 of the 4 remaining teams play with a pace and physicality that I dont think we can currently match.
Leafs don't need to worry about pace (at least once they get rid of guys like Thornton and Simmonds) and even when it comes to physicality, we have performed well against Boston with far worse teams than we currently have. If we had better defense and goaltending, and a Kadri who was not suspended, then we likely win both of those series against Boston... And NYI/Vegas are not any more physical than those Boston teams were. Then of course there is Marner, but you don't need to play physical to stop him anyways.
Vegas is gonna sweep Montreal. Trap won't work on Vegas, they'll dominate and expose Montreal like they did in game one.
Boring game, but worth it to read Montreal fans excuses and whining. SOOOO worth that alone.
What was boring about it? I only saw the 1st 2 periods but they weren't boring at all.
I'm sure Habs fans and every other fanbase loves reading the excuses and whining that's been going on the past month since there's been a lot of excuses and quite a few people whining. We blew a 3-1 lead to the Habs, I don't think we have much to laugh at them about if they lose to Vegas in the 3rd round. They've made it further in 1 season then we have in the past 5.
I disagree, he has been invisible in these playoffs.
Barely shooting at the net, doesn’t block shots ,hasn’t got an assist on a Goal over two months and has been on ice for more goals against than scored at 5on5 in these playoffs .
"I don't think we can look at the roster now when you lose in the second round and say you can compete for a Stanley Cup," Neely said. "I mean, players that are on the roster that are coming back certainly need to improve. You need to get more out of the third and fourth line, even the second line, we didn't get enough out of in that last series. I think we have to look at improving our roster to improve our chances to win a Cup."
Just something you say after losing in the second round... Different culture. Meanwhile losing vs Habs in the first round, we still believe! Just couldn't get it done.
It's been so long since we won 1st round, Dubas and company pretend like you get SC for winning the first round...
