If Colorado cannot get it done in the playoffs, we have no hope. We're deeper offensively but not as much defensively. Both teams have good but not great goaltenders.

Leafs need to learn to play with a bit of an edge and grind out wins. Can't try to make the perfect passes and plays like the Avs are trying right now and the Leafs have been doing forever.

Need to rethink the way we play.

I thought he was done when Vegas got him in the expansion draft. Crazy comeback for a goalie.

I think that's fair. But I think the Habs will only be able to ride the hot goalie situation for so long. These two teams looks like they have the ability to fight for goals multiple ways. I'm not sure the Habs game strategy will work nearly as well there.

well generally yes. There is always one plucky team that gets by on grit and bounces and hot goaltending. They tend not to win but it’s possible.

I forget who I listened to. But someone described hockey as the worlds most elaborate coin flipping competition. i think that’s closer than we all believe.

Injuries bounces hot streaks and we try to make a big assumption based on all of it.

That’s why I don’t personally mind the “kicks at the can strategy we are going with”.

Vegas is just better than the Avs. They're way more structured when they're defending.

I was told this series got too much hype and that the Avs are a tier above Vegas

But that division was so bad. Avs absolutely feasted on those shitty teams.

never say never. The playoffs are a huge coin flip. Hot goalies. Injuries bounces. Anything can happen. Every year teams get hot and go final 4 or final 2.

That’s why most teams say just get In and anything can happen.

The Habs always seem to have horsehoes up their ass in the playoffs and Price can take over games. Anything can definitely happen.
