We are not Chiarelli stupid. Johnny B goes nowhere!

Eklund is not a source to be trusted.

Trust the crossing guard, he was (eventually) (finally) right about Williams.

The Dion to la comes from Kevin Allen one of Eklunds writers who works for usa today He has stated a few time that the best deal offered at the draft come from the kings * never mentions what the deal was However the sticking point was / is how much money the leafs retain

That's exactly right and the reason he's still a Leaf. Every team wanted the Leafs to retain a significant amount. I don't see him as a part of that team long term, and if the right team is struggling or loses a key defenseman come Feb trade deadline, maybe he will get moved, but that salary and term...not an easy trade.

--Pretty good opening week for NY Rangers rookie center Oscar LIndberg, 4 goals in 3 games and +5.

++Stamkos hit the 500 point mark today

--And Eichel scored a pretty sweet goal today, and as described below, he showed why his IQ and instincts are so high. I was watching that game and it was impressive as some of his shifts have been, just that vision for passing and anticipation. Like any young player, adjusting to the NHL and needing to round out his game but boy is he good.

video of the goal :

Watch here as he beats Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner to a loose puck in the offensive zone, wins the physical battle, manages to keep the puck just inside the blue line to stay onside, circles around, and then beats Sergei Bobrovsky with a filthy wrist shot just inside the far post.

Eklund and Allen both see la as the ending spot for him I have heard both say that Dion will end up a king on a couple of different occasions. I just hope if we get at least 2.5 million gets retain I can live with dion at 4.5 ish million However i hope some team beats us to it.

Ducks Nucks 14 minutes in penalties between them, 3 minutes into the game
And it should have been more

Lots of sloppy play tonight, Kings aren't the only team that looks like the Preseason hasn't ended.

The Canucks turned the Puck over about Five times in that shift, and the Ducks got like two shots through.

Crazy.

I don't get why everyone is saying the Canucks will miss the playoffs. They said the same thing last season and I thought they'd get in.

Ugh the PBP Fan fair to the staged fights is just blah. These staged fights do nothing, can we just say that now please ?

The Ducks PBP guys just complain all game long about, Blocked shots, Goalie Equipment, Hooking, Holding , ETC.

Unfortunately the Ducks will eventually put on the afterburners while the Kings will still be in the corner eating glue.
