Unfortunately the Ducks will eventually put on the afterburners while the Kings will still be in the corner eating glue.
I know, but let me enjoy being just one point behind!!!

The Kings have actually outscored Edmonton and Anaheim.![]()
As garbage as the Kings have been, at least the Ducks are only one point ahead

Ha! This gave me a mental image of a young Dustin Brown sitting in a corner with a bottle of Elmer's all over his hands.

Bruins have given up 16 goals in 3 games. There has been rumors for awhile that they are looking for a defensemen. But to what end? I don't see how that will help, I don't think that would guarantee a playoff spot. By their summer drafting/moves, it's hard to tell if they are rebuilding or retooling. But Chara's best days are behind him, Seidenberg is getting injury ridden and you have to think , as CSN NE pointed out, perhaps sooner than later, not only Chara's name being out there but Marchland, Krejci, and Erickson as well. Realistically, I don't see them getting past any of the elite top EC teams, so they should move some assets out while before their value drops.
I think they are past retool and need to recognize rebuild.
they have been mis managed...moving out sequin and Hamilton were huge mistakes. If Hamilton was not fitting in in the locker room than they should have moved out the others who were not making it possible. And moving out a stud in Sequin (who everyone knew was a stud) was just in explainable. His contract is one of the best in the league.
To a lesser extend it's like if the kings would have moved out Brown because him and Avery were not getting along.
At this point they have to blow it up. If they can get anything of value for Chara they should take it .
Agree. But he's turning 39 in March and cap hit is 6.9M thru 2018.
Not an easy contract to move without eating some of that . And even then...risky. He missed the first 2 games of the year with the ever popular 'upper body injury' and although he came back in game 3 , not even sure he's 100%.

Martin Jones is off to an insane start
The Oilers ever going to score a goal?
He started like that with the kings too yes? Give him 3/4 a season. I like him, he is good goalie... So I hope I am wrong... But I don't think he has a season in him.

SUPER bad Mcdavid hit. Wow.
Ref looked right at it, no idea how that's not called
Star treatment, obviously.
He may get suspended before he scores his first.
