Colin Miller making his NHL Debut tonight with the Bruins vs the Habs on NHL Network, 7 pm EST

Also, although I've heard Chara and Rask's names mentioned, hearing from the NESN that depending on where the team is 20 to 25 gams in, Krecji might be a deadline option. Understable due to his turning 30 this year but at 7.25M thru 2021, giving his injury history, not the easiest move with most teams in CAP straits.
STill, it would appear they should be looking to rebuild and the longer they hold onto him, the lower his value will be.

Miller looking good for debut. Bruins have him right out on the PP! And , oh. Yes, he can skate!!! So, that doesn't appear to be a problem!! Of course all the D on the Kings skate well. Forget about the first round pick to get Lucic. It won't take long and we will be talking about Miller.

Down 4-2 with 3:30 to go in the game, the Devils coach just pulled the goalie....while on the PK...with a upcoming faceoff in their zone...

Through two games, the only goal scored by the Oilers was scored by Alex Pietrangelo

Oh headsnap...There's the overreacting Mike Smith we remember. He hurt himself trying to sell it more than the contact to his head.

I don't care if he hasn't registered a point McJesus will be a monster real soon. My goodness this kid is good. Eff you Edmonton Eff you.

4-1 over the Islanders in J.F. Berube's first NHL start. 3 of our former prospects play in their first NHL game on the same night. Okay, so they all lost, but hey, still a big night.

JF Berube
C Miller

and? who's the 3rd prospect? i forget...?

Tikhonov played too
Stoll did well for the Rangers
Williams did well for the Capitals

glad to see Berube can hold his own in the NHL, vs the Hawks too

Glad to hear that Stoll and Williams acquitted themselves well. The third prospect to play his first game tonight was...Brian O'Neill. He and the other New Jersey Devils lost 5-3 to the Capitals. Brian's parents, sister and twin brother were expected to make it out for the game.

Berube gave up 4 goals, 3 ES ones and a 5-on-3 PP one, I believe, but hey, he still made the big show.

Martin Jones looks good

damn i forgot about Martin Jones & Brian O'Neill !

wow...

Arizona beat Pittsburgh. Maybe we can all feel a little better about last night.

What's fun is visiting other team's forums and after a bad loss seeing Auston Matthews threads pop up. Of course, since Carolina has our first-rounder, we won't be seeing any Auston Matthews threads around here. Sigh.. Thanks again, Sekera.

With Berube's start, 7 of the 10 picks the Kings took in 2009 have played in the NHL. With Nic Dowd have a serious chance of being the 8th. The players are: Schenn, Clifford, Deslauriers, Berube, Vey, Kozun, and Nolan.

Impressive drafting and developing. 70-80%. Nic Deslauriers scored the lone Buffalo goal tonight. Hard to believe he's already played 101 NHL games.
