Watching how good a cup winning team like Florida is, I’d rather we just forfeit next season and get the highest pick we can somehow while waiting for Tavares and Marner’s contracts to expire lol. There is no combination of players we can cobble together to get close to this level of play.

It ain't all about the Cup here and it hasn't been for a while.

There's no way to justify all the decisions that have been made over the last 5+ years and say those moves were about winning the Cup first. It's literally impossible.
