Been far too long since the Leafs drafted and developed a goalie of that calibre (or kept him).

A goalie the team could build around for a decade plus would go a long way.

He did look very good tonight, better than any time in the Vancouver series.

For what it's worth, Skinner's career numbers are (in the regular season):

vs Van: 1-4-0, 4.04, 0.855
vs Dal: 2-1-0, 2.70, 0.9
vs Fla: 2-0-0, 2.53, 0.929
vs NYR: 1-1-0, 3.01, 0.909

So maybe he just doesn't like playing against Vancouver.
