Solid night for us last night with both Florida and Detroit losing in regulation
I understand that Detroit is close in points, but they are so flawed that they won't be able to keep level with the teams above them over an extended period. They are too prone to long-ish losing streaks. Same with Tampa, especially when they get on the road. Florida is an interesting one because they seem to be the streakiest team of the bunch. I don't think they will hold on to second place in the Atlantic. The Leafs can be within 2 points of them after this weekend.

5 straight wins for Tampa if they win today.

Leafs need to keep it going.

Sabres have a better GA/GP than both Tampa and the Leafs which is pretty sad.
Like Detroit and Florida, Tampa is prone to long losing streaks as well because of their defensive breakdowns. Everything will even out by the end of the season. The Metro is a more interesting race because the Rangers have come back down to the pack and the Hurricanes are charging.

I always saw the Rangers as frauds. Same with the Canucks.

Kuch and Mack starting to pull away in the scoring race.

I am questioning now if McDavid will catch up.

Uh, clearly I meant low-scoring....
