Damn would’ve loved bertuzzi. Wonder what he cost…

Time for Tom Wilson teehee

Per TSN, The Detroit Red Wings have traded winger Tyler Bertuzzi to the Boston Bruins for a top-10 potected 2024 first-round pick and a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

Taylor Hall is injured and i think Foligno got dinged up in their last game so they didn't waste any time.

Poor @rt is the only one defending this trade from an Arizona perspective. I feel for the guy but I don't think he's being honest with himself.

Quick is #2 on the TSN trade board, I guess they’ve not been watching too many western conference games. Weird he’s now a subject for this board though. I love the guy but I’d he shocked if anyone picks him up for much other than an injury crisis move.

I can see Quick at least being a point of discussion, because what's left for tomorrow?

There have been years where a couple things happen a week or two before the deadline, and then deadline day is active. There's been just active deadline days. But this 2 or 3 days before the deadline, where both big and minor moves have been made, this is weird. I can't remember a deadline like this one.

At this point Columbus has to feel anything they get for Quick is gravy. It's just a matter of any of the teams that might be interested in him fitting him under the salary cap.

I’m pretty sure we paid the price to move off Quick. If he brings anything in trade I’ll be sick.

I don't see how Domi makes any sense for us. The guy doesn't backcheck.

He's not good enough offensively to justify his one dimensional play.

I'd rather let Kupari keep growing into the role. Or JAD. Problem is Todd probably won't allow that right now.
I always thought of him as a scrappy guy. I just assumed that he played some D. His offense is very good. Im not interested in adding another UFA though. It’s going to give me gry hair.

Not JAD pehaps, but TM seems to be showing a lot of trust in Kupari. I hope it continues, hes been really good in his role. I feel like hes impressed with how Kupari has embraced it and not sulked one bit.

The Kings do need a center, but I don't see any sensical solutions other than letting the young players develop.

Some have speculated that AZ will trade Schmaltz. Check out how his contract is structured:

YEARCLAUSECAPACTUAL SALARY
2022-23$5,850,000$4,500,000
2023-24M-NTC$5,850,000$7,500,000
2024-25M-NTC$5,850,000$8,450,000
2025-26M-NTC$5,850,000$8,500,000

So his pay starts to double next year, and simultaneously his NTC kicks in. If AZ is having financial issues, I can see why he might be moved.

Think they were saying he's better at wing & hasn't played center in a while.

Bonino & Bjugstad aren't great.
Dvorak maybe.
Monahan is out injured. Might be coming back soon. Injuries are hurting his game, but maybe he can get it together for a few games.

Center market not ideal right now. Was thinking about Cal for Johansson, but he's out 12 weeks or so.

I think Bjugstad should be the target. Big and good defensively with at least a little offensive ability.

If they move Schmaltz or Crouse then at what point does Keller ask to get out of town?

This is getting ridiculous.

Man they have an allstar team if you wind the clocks back 5-7 years.

Just realized that trade was for a goalie for Columbus. Another sign Quick is being rerouted?
