I mean there is a good chance whoever comes out of the east will be missing a significant piece or 2 by the cup. Get there and anything can happen. Hell OT luck landing your way changes a whole series.

Agree - maybe from the coach standpoint more than the grit. I think a lot of these guys can get tough when needed. Danault is underrated there, Anderson has developed into a tougher guy. Perhaps the LHD we add can have a nice edge to his game as well.

Depends on what you talk about or what you mean when you talk about toughness.....I don't see it in JAD, Kupari, etc, possibly Grundstrom, Lizotte has a different toughness in, he's a goddamn gumby out there, he can take whatever you dish at him and bounce up....but he doesn't have the stature to intimidate, wear down etc, he wears down with his frenetic pace etc...

Can't really count out Colorado either, right? Although they need a 2C still.

Yes, the Kings are a more highly skilled team this season, and they are scoring more goals. The playoffs is a competition of will vs will, and I don't think the Kings have what it takes to win a 7-game series against teams like Colorado, Vegas, and Dallas.

In a series with Edmonton, I think McDavid and Draisaitl would impose their will on the Kings in terms of their skill.

Oh yeah undoubtedly. We only have 1 solid defensive pairing and DD foot speed is average and declining no way he can chase mcJeezus around wouldve been exposed last season. What we have going is 3 scoring lines that EDM does not... it would prob be a pretty even series again.. Prob come down to goaltending - both teams questionable there.
